Dear Dog Lover/ Enthusiast

Hi, my name is Robert Belobrajdic. I have been around dogs all my life as my father was a keen hunter. I grew up with Gun Dogs like German Shorthaired Pointers, Cocker Spaniels and later we had German Wirehaired Pointers that we trained for competition field trials.I am now in my thirties and have been breeding and training working pig dogs for the past ten years and I also have been breeding Boerboels for the past five years.

It would be fair to say that I am dedicated to dogs and I allow them to take up a large percentage of my daily hours, be it cleaning their runs, taking them for a walk, talking about dogs on the phone with another breeder or simply thinking about pedigrees and what breeding I would like to do next. I find
all these things immensely enjoyable. Discovering Boerboels has been a amazing journey, not just getting to witness first hand what a great breed of dog they are. And not just the wonderful people I have got to meet because of the Boerboel but the most amazing thing I get from breeding boerboels is the awesome feeling of pleasure when someone who has bought a boerboel puppy calls me up on the phone and tells me how happy they are with their dog, but the biggest buzz is when they have a story like the ones on the website. Just the other day I was talking to Brendon from Canberra he bought a nice bitch out of Laksman and Six, anyway after the small talk he was telling me how happy he was with his bitch and how she is really switched on to looking after his kids, a three year old girl and a one year old boy, he said, 

“That bitch is amazing the other day I was out the backyard withthe kids, my boy was playing in the dirt on a slope, anyway he started to role sideways, slowly down this slope. Seeing what was happening, Aradia got up walked over to my son and laid down in front of him to stop him rolling any further! ”If you could only see the look on my face, pleasure and pride all rolled into one, when Brendon told me that experience, that is why I will be breeding boerboels for the rest of my life.Here at Evolution Boerboels we are breeding for sound temperament and sound structure with a preference for dogs with large bone and a powerful and muscular appearance. We are doing this by selecting the BEST bitches we can get our hands on and breeding them to the BEST suited males available, no matter the cost or distance needed to travel.

I am also working along side Craig Bloom from Ataraxia kennels, to reach my goals in dog breeding.
